Monasays
I am 48 years old, female and have done several BB workouts, most recently Hammer and Chisel. I am in the 5th week of HC and I have been a little disappointed with my results so far. Maybe the marketing made me think I would look like a bikini model when I was done, but far from it. My legs are getting quite a workout but my abs are still very soft and I feel I am losing some upper body strength I received from p90x3. I am contemplating doing another workout to shed the fat but I do not want to lose muscle. What would you recommend I move onto for my next quest to get the results I’m trying to obtain? I thought about t25 or t25/beast or t25/p90x hybrids. Any thoughts?
@Mona hi Mona – you can certainly move on to any one of those options. What I can tell you based on my experience is, don’t get disappointed with just 1 round results. I know they market it like it’s a 60 day program, but if you keep at it you can certainly achieve those results. A lot of times I realized that I was trying to compare myself to those great results but realized that (1) I didn’t follow nutrition in the past…I stopped messing about and started following nutrition and it was like MAGIC (2) They had past fitness related experience, either as an athlete in high school or weight lifting – that helps people lose weight faster.
You got this! If you want to share tips, especially on nutrition, let me know!
