Do you love Reeses Peanut Butter Cups? Who doesn’t, right? Unfortunately, if you are trying to live a healthier lifestyle and watch your eating, even one cup could really mess with your daily sugar, carb, and fat intake. But don’t worry; there is a tasty alternative that is healthy for you! Introducing my Reeses Peanut Butter Shakeology Recipe!
Below are two different Shakeology Recipes that you can use for either your Chocolate or your Vanilla Shakeology.
Chocolate Shakeology Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Recipe
Here is the exact ingredients I use for my Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Shakeology recipe. Some options are flexible depending on your likes and needs.
- 1 Scoop, Chocolate Shakeology
- 1 tbsp of Natural Peanut Butter (I use Skippy Natural. You can also use PB2 if you have it)
- 1-2 cups of water, almond milk, or low-fat milk
- 3-4 ice cubes
Blend to taste!
Sometimes to mix it up I also add:
- 1/2 or 1 whole banana
- 1/2 Cup coffee with 1/2 cup water
Reeses Peanut Butter Shakeology Recipe for Vanilla Flavor
For my Vanilla Shakeology lovers out there, here you go! This does require an extra step to enhance the chocolate taste of the Peanut Butter Cup, but don’t let that fool you! I think that adding the Vanilla with this recipe makes it that much smoother, tasty, and rich.
- 1 Scoop of Vanilla Shakeology
- 1 Tsp of Dark Cocoa (Hershey Brand is best)
- 1 tbsp of Natural Peanut Butter (or PB2)
- 1-2 cups of water, almond milk, or low-fat milk
- 3-4 ice cubes
Blend to taste!

The Reese’s PB with Vanilla was good, just not quite what I was expecting. I didn’t have the dark cocoa, so I used what I had which was Hershey’s 100% cacao naturally unsweetened. I don’t know if using the dark cocoa makes a difference, but mine didn’t have much of a chocolate flavor at all. It did nicely cover the weird chemically-cakey taste of the vanilla though. I think next time I’ll go with 2 tsp of the cocoa until I can get some dark cocoa. Thanks for sharing!

@Kendra You are welcome, thanks for stopping by! I agree with the Vanilla & Reese’s not being as good. Vegan & Regular Chocolate flavors mixed are my favorite for sure, or as you said dark cocoa or regular cocoa works great with the vanilla mix.

Tried it with chocolate shakeo. Tasted like the real thing. Even hubby guzzled it down and asked for another!

@kitcha_69 that’s awesome 🙂 It is my “go to” recipe for sure!
