Within the Sweet Life Fitness community, you’ll often see the tagline “LIVE BETTER“. But this isn’t just a simple slogan used for our great community, it’s much, much more! Today I want you to get FIRED UP. I want you to get EXCITED about three simple tips to get started on how to LIVE BETTER.
Getting Started Right: How to LIVE BETTER
Fitness.
Some hate it. Some love it. Some want it to die. Some are quite frankly addicted to it.
But it’s not just about getting Abs, or having that toned body. Fitness is the onset of MANY MANY important things such as:
- Energy
- Nutritional Health
- Confidence in Yourself
- Internal Health
- Warding off disease and obesity
- Youthfulness
- Happiness
I get TONS of e-mails every day. I absolutely love hearing from all of you out there!! But most e-mails start out with things like:
- I’m too fat
- I need results QUICK
- I hate myself
- I hate being fat
- I want to get ripped
- I want abs
Lot’s of negativity and lots of focus ONLY on the physical appearance.
OK folks – I’m just as guilty. Who doesn’t want a nice toned body and abs of steel? But that’s only the cherry on the top when we talk about the three tips to get started on your journey to LIVE BETTER.

The THREE Tips on how to Live Better
Don’t focus on the itty-bitty details. Focus on the goal. Focus on the LIFESTYLE of health and fitness (not just the quick fix).
TIP #1 – REMOVE One Bad Habit at a Time
Just starting out on your fitness journey? Great! Take the time to focus on ONE small step at a time.
This could mean start out with just a few workouts per week. Or maybe eliminating 1 bad thing from your diet at a time.
Maybe instead of ice cream you rock out with my favorite Chocolate Shakeology Reese’s recipe.
One step at a time for a LIFE of Sweetness!
TIP #2 – STOP The Hate!
Whether you negatively talk to yourself or listen to the spewing BS of other people, STOP IT!
Haters are looking for one thing: to bring others down to their level. They are jealous of you. They don’t believe in you. PROVE. THEM. WRONG.
Prove yourself wrong too, if you’re the hater of yourself.
TIP #3 – STOP Over Analyzing Stuff
When it comes down to things like figuring out what are macros and how to follow the P90X3 diet program, it can get DAMN confusing, am I right?
But by all means, DO NOT over analyze it all!
Here is how you do it:
- Pick a Fitness Program (My recommendations: Body Beast to build muscle, INSANITY Max 30 for cardio, or 21 Day Fix for overall fitness).
- Read the Manuals and the Nutrition Guide
- Meal Prep Like a Boss
- STAY CONSISTENT
