I wanted to do a special update for P90X3 Accelerator Week 4 Review. Since I’m doing the Classic P90X3 Schedule, this is the first time I’ve seen this particular workout in the program.
P90X3 Accelerator during Week 4 is no joke. A lot of times I have fallen into the trap of thinking transition (or rather, “recovery”) week is a time to relax. Nope. Not this time!
Accelerator is just like the name. You literally accelerate each move in this program. From moves like Sun Salutations to Donkey Kicks, I burned tons of calories and felt worn out afterwards.

While Accelerator isn’t my most favorite workout, it definitely does a great job providing a big calorie burn (and cardio workout). I think for the effort, the CVX workout is so much more fun when it comes to cardio with weights. Don’t worry, you’ll burn the same amount of calories (or more!).
P90X3 Accelerator Week 4 Nutrition
Today’s eating remained fair for me. If you are struggling with your P90X3 eating, check out my recent post on P90X3 Diet Plan. In there I explain why it’s important to eat the calories and space out the foods to 3-4 hours.
Does that mean I’m perfect with P90X3 Nutrition?

I have found the key to success is sticking with it. It is OK to have a cheat meal or have a slight flub-up on your daily P90X3 nutrition. The key is not making it a consistent problem. As long as you focus on making every effort to hit your goal each and every day, that is key.
Speaking of which, tomorrow I’m going to have a bit of a cheat breakfast. I’m treating my lovely wife and beautiful daughter to a breakfast with Mickey Mouse over at the Polynesian Resort at Walt Disney World (benefits of living in Florida). While the breakfast is fairly good, there will be some extra bacon and sausage that will be enjoyed by all! Don’t worry, I’ll be tracking it all with MyFitnessPal 🙂
